Charles D. Jenkins is a founding partner of San Francisco-based Jenkins Goodman Neuman & Hamilton LLP. Having established a broad base of experience, he has repeatedly been recognized as one of the San Francisco Bay Area's preeminent commercial litigation attorneys. Mr. Jenkins has appeared on CNN and been often quoted in the print media concerning a variety of legal matters. Well known for his direct creative approach, Mr. Jenkins enjoys a long track record resolving unusual and intractable legal disputes for clients, the courts and the community. He is comfortable working with the most powerful global law firms or advising governmental interests, early stage companies, multinational corporations or select individuals.

Defending and prosecuting civil rights and personal injury cases for the hospitality and retail industries early in his career, Mr. Jenkins developed a persuasive presence in the court room. He has lectured on trial practice and has conducted jury trials in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, Alameda and Monterey Counties, as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. In addition, Mr. Jenkins has appeared before the California Courts of Appeal, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and has worked with the California legislature, as well as the Sacramento and Washington D.C. lobbying communities.

Later in his career, Mr. Jenkins' law practice revolved around employment and complex commercial litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution. More recently, Mr. Jenkins has been defending federal class action litigation, mentoring early stage technology and renewable energy companies with a particular emphasis on intellectual property, and providing counsel to law enforcement and governmental interests.

After 25 years being exposed to a wide variety of legal matters and having cultivated a deep network of advisers and service providers in and around the San Francisco Bay Area, the appeal of Mr. Jenkins' service offerings today and what differentiates him from most other practitioners is the breadth of his experience. Mr. Jenkins knows how to manage risk, save clients money, introduce the right professionals to those with specific needs, and avoid the expense and rigors of litigation whenever possible. Mr. Jenkins serves as outside General Counsel for Pacific Harvest Seafoods, Inc.; Orion Environmental, Inc.; and Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders, Inc. Mr. Jenkins is acting Chief Executive Officer of RenewedCurrent, Inc., an early stage Tradable Renewable Energy Credit company.

Mr. Jenkins received his B.A. degree in marketing from the School of Business at Michigan State University where he also won a Big Ten Championship as a gymnast. In 1984, he graduated from the University Of San Diego School Of Law with distinction for academic achievement. During law school he served the Honorable John F. Grady in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois; and the Honorable Betty Berry-Deal in the California Courts of Appeal. He currently serves as an arbitrator for Sonoma County and a mediator for TIP (Technology, Intellectual Property and Commercial) Mediation Services.
